Blue Angel for poultry red mite
The Tiergesundheit Emsland® brand offers a product against the poultry red mite.
In the first step, the immediate measure, adult mites are rendered harmless at once and the mite eggs are damaged in order to interrupt the reproduction cycle.
In the second step, the long-term barrier, a protective shield is intended to prevent mites from recolonising the house. According to the company, there are no withdrawal periods. The product can also be used in occupied houses.
It is FiBL-listed. The "Blue Angel" eco-label has been awarded to this mite control system for the first time.
