Blue Angel for Red Mite Control ProductBusiness & Market • Short Reports The Tiergesundheit Emsland® brand has developed a product against red poultry mites. In the first step, the immediate measure, adult mites are rendered harmless immediately and mite eggs are damaged to interrupt the reproduction cycle. In the second step, the long-term barrier, a protective shield is intended to prevent new mite infestations in the coop. According to the company, there are no waiting periods. The product can also be used in occupied coops. It is FiBL-listed. The "Blue Angel" environmental label has been awarded for this mite control system for the first time. |
